Angelina Leofanti

Angelina is a 21-year-old, Toronto-based dance artist, choreographer, and instructor, whose passion for dance began at a young age at a small studio in her hometown of  Markham, Ontario. She is technically trained in the various styles of Jazz, Tap, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, Ballet, and Hip-hop, and began teaching and training young dancers at the age of 15. Being raised in the Toronto dance scene, Angelina has had the opportunity to learn from – as well as perform alongside – some of the city’s top-rated professionals. However, in addition to the outstanding artists that Angelina has learned from and worked with in Toronto, she has been fortunate enough to take her passion abroad on multiple occasions as well. In 2015, Angelina spent 2 months living in Los Angeles, California, training with the industry’s leading choreographers and mentors, and actively experiencing all that the L.A dance scene had to offer. She has also spent an abundance of time training and performing in NYC: Angelina has attended the NYC Dance Teacher’s Summit (2014 and 2016), as well as performing at NYC’s Young Choreographers Festival (2015) and Peridance APAP Showcase (2017).

At home in Toronto, Angelina has been seen on numerous occasions performing in multiple shows and working at various events throughout the city. She has been seen performing with entertainment companies such as Magen Boys Entertainment, Jet Entertainment, and Dani Kagan Casting, as well as performing in OnTheFloor’s annual Gala for SickKids Hospital, Fever After Dark (2015), the Ray-D-Ance Gala (2015), and the Toronto Dance Expo (2016). Angelina has most recently been seen performing in Echo Dance Company’s 2nd show entitled “[in]Sight”.

Angelina is beyond grateful for the people she has worked with, as well as the opportunities that she has been provided. She feels incredibly privileged and is so excited to be able to pass on her experiences and knowledge to each and every one of her students at Impact Dance Company!
